The aim behind creating a Floret was to design an imaginative dwelling. Maintaining harmony with different forms of nature, the best element to signify it was a flower. A simple pencil sketch of a flower; transformed into a Floret. Resembling the petals of a flower, the built-form is a composition of environmental geometry which is soft, subtle and colourful. Just like a flower, the petals are connected to the central core, likely all the curved walls are connected centrally. The interior spaces too are continuous & interwoven with curved walls that provide a unique view of the outdoors. The curvilinear planes of walls, rough finished plaster, flooring and other finishing materials collectively provide a feel of living within the petals of a flower.
